This course covers the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Treatment Improvement Protocol (TIP) series for treating substance misuse in older adults. This series of guidelines contains nine chapters and is intended to give healthcare providers a structure to properly identify, evaluate and treat older adults with substance use disorder (SUD).
