This course will be a discussion of the Americans with Disabilities Act. We will cover those who are protected by the law as well as the requirements for businesses, schools, and other public entities.
After a reintroduction of the law, special populations and the protections that the law provides for those people will be discussed. We will cover the following special populations: deafness, pregnancy, blindness & visual impairment, epilepsy, diabetes, cancer, HIV, and other considerations/dress code.
